I know nobody cares about this, but I will say it anyways because this is my journal! You can skip this entry if you're not interested anyway.

Perhaps some people that have been watching my artworks for a time or those who are close to me may have realised I prefer yaoi (and his colleague slash and even gay porn) more than anything; and when I say "more than anything" I mean the other two genres we know: het and yuri (lesbian).

However I'm not here to say something that's so obvious. I just simply decided to focus exclusively on yaoi and not having to do anything with het. Even though I used to be quite tolerant (I even did some het stuff especially for my friends and commissions here at DA), I decided that no more. I want to concentrate on yaoi because that's what I really like.

About commissions… well, let's just stick to my rules. Maybe I won't have any customers in a long, long time, but I'd rather to perform well and love what I do instead of doing something crappy in a rush. Moreover, I don't want to lie: I don't like to draw het stuff and that's it. Better being honest and straightforward.

Oh please. Now don't come thinking I'm going to make an "anti-hetero crusade" in the anti-yaoi old fashion style. Give me a break! I'm not interested on wasting energy on something so ludicrous. I just decided to focus on what I always liked; as simple as that.

I know that some may argue "no universe is believable if you don't add women" or "you are a misogynist because you ignore women". I'll give credit to the first argument: it's true; women should be ALWAYS present, but only on secondary roles. But this does not mean at all that I'm going to bash or denigrate women if I have to put them on scene. Being the feminist that I am, that is a big "NO, NO, NO". They can be just secondary characters with their respective merits.

Now my reasons may lead to some idiots to argue that I'm a misogynist because I "ignore women". Come on then, following that logic, should I call misandrists (as opposed to misogynists) to those who only draw women (or have girls as main characters in their works) just because "they ignore men"? Give me a break!

Following that logic, I can say that Akira Toriyama is a misogynist because he has a lot of males as main characters. I could say the same about Masami Kurumada. Or in the inverse, I would say that Naoko Takeuchi is a misandrist because she has way too many females as main characters.

Absolutely ludicrous.

Please tell me I'm just exaggerating and I will believe you, really. It would be bloody sad to see such ludicrous arguments for real. And I mean it.

Let's leave things clear: a misogynist person is the one who scorns women by treating them as inferior beings or give them a bad image by mocking, ridiculing or bashing them. Don't even look at me, no woman has been damaged in my works (and if it was the case, justice has been done). Therefore, labelling me as a misogynist just because I chose to draw boys and have lots of male OC's is the most stupid thing you can do. Sure, if you still want to do it, then be my guest. But I won't be the loser, you can be sure of that.

Anyways, I really don't care about what most people think. I want to devote myself to what I really, really love without giving explanations. Why, because regardless of how much I explain myself, whoever who wants to bug me will do it anyways. I haven't seen any boy (or girl) who prefers to draw women instead of men giving explanations to anyone. They just do what they like.

And to hell everything else.

Honestly, I'm not different from those boys/girls who prefer to draw women all time. I draw (and write) mostly to please first me, second me and third me. Then come my dear friends and AFTER THEM come the rest. I'm most sure there has to be people who understand and accept my feelings.

If I want to draw yaoi and nothing else, then that's what I will draw and write. I will create HUNDREDS of male OC's and I'll see how I will fit them in their respective universe showing respects to logics and coherence. I will include hundreds of yaoi pairings and I will sanctify sex between males. That's what I love, no matter who may disagree and whether you like it… or not.

And that's the way things will be, forever and ever (AMEN!)
